WOW GORGEOUS PLUS SIZE 20 FORMAL COCKTAIL/EVENING DRESS This elegant formal Ruched dress is by Diana. Plus size 20 MACRO Made in California. Absolutely stunning form fit formal eveningwear. Note the pleated sides, which give the impression of much extra fabric and so is very slimming as well as allowing for a form fit without looking constrained. This pleating is also referred to as Ruche. 100% polyester excluding Taffeta The arms are a sheer chiffon netting with a wonderful floral rose and leaf pattern and interwoven is a glittering spiral sequent maze. This could be removed if you want to tone it down a bit. The floral pattern is repeated over the front and back of the dress as an overlay to an opaque polyester lining. Only the side ruffles are not covered with the floral overlay and do not have the polyester lining and though opaque they are of a very soft polyester. The back has a 13 inch 33cm zipper and buttons at the top with 2 half moon buttons, leaving a sensual center back opening. The front sports a modestly low neckline bodice to show off the bust and any jewelry you wish to wear. There are padded shoulders to add to the formal appearance and compensate for any drooping shoulders there is also a stiff netting to puff the shoulders out and straps on the inside to help hold fast to a hanger in your closet.   This dress is in like new condition with only a small stain on the INTERIOR top back that is NOT noticeable and hardly worth mentioning. There might be a few loose threads to trim but this would be the case on a NEW dress so is of no consequence. The top of the arm opening sports a stiff netting to push the sleeve out and give it a fuller look. There is a generous arm opening at the armpit of 22 inches 56cm. The sleeve measures from shoulder seam to end cuff 25 inches 63.5cm but this is including the puff at the shoulder the sleeve length measured straight is 22 inches 56cm and from the underarm to the end is just 16 inches 41cm. The bust at the underarm measures a max of 50 inches 127cm but I would go no more than a 48 (119cm) for comfort The side pleats are formed by a lengthwise (vertical) run of elastic but the fabric in the side has some horizontal give to it as well. All measurements are with the material and elastic relaxed as there is not enough give in the material to be of consequence and the lengthwise run of elastic has little effect on fit but is just to accomplish the pleats. So these measurements would be max for comfort and look. There are no snags, runs, pulls, holes or stains except a minor smudge on the INNER surface of the back lining and this is not noticeable when worn. It could easily be mistaken as new without tags.
