Size Small and Tall Kimono style with attached butterfly arms. A very stunning and unique Kimono style dress or robe. Lounge around the house or wear out, also would make a great costume. This Gown does not have any tags in it but it would appear to be made of 100 % nylon with some spandex sewn in under the arms to help fit it to the bodice. The dress portion is full length and has 2 metal eye hooks to latch the inner flap and 4 plastic large pink buttons to fasten the outer. It also sports a fabric panel at the center back as in a Kimono to fit the garment at the waist. It also has a panel at the front at the buttons to accentuate the waist It is well made and probably is home made as the stitching would suggest this, but I cannot be certain. The seams are surged except where panels are added this is a running stitch and the stabilizer has been left in place on 2 panels to help firm them. I will say it is obvious that the bottom hem has been hemmed up 2 inches 5cm by hand and could be let out to lengthen the gown. I would not even attempt to make a gown so detailed so if it is indeed handmade the seamstress really had a lot of patience and knowledge. If it was manufactured it was not an easy or fast produced item. The arm holes are small being only 18 inches in total and one would need to leave a couple inches for comfort, but they open to a wonderful butterfly draped arm that is reminiscent of a Kimono but attached to the dress the full arm fabric length.  Absolutely gorgeous.   The waist measures from 30inches relaxed to 36inches fully stretched but the give in the elastic is stiff so I would try to look at it as a 30/32 max at the  waist. Less would be better as it would fit loose for comfort. This elastic is 2 strips of ¾ inch spandex waistband type material of 6 inches in length sewn under both arms at the sides about the height of the first button and the second about 2 inches lower. This is to fit the garment to the body at the mid Tummy to waist. The gown has plenty of over lap and could be worn out without much care of it opening to reveal much but if one were concerned of wind gusts or opening when sitting another eyehook could be placed lower on the garment at the hips. Or one could wear some nice undies. The length is 54inches 137cm from the shoulder to bottom of seamed hem but as I stated earlier this is hand stitched up so another 2 inches could be had by letting this out making it 56 inches or 142 cm in length. This item is for a slender and tall person. I would say it a size Small. I could not get an accurate bust measurement for all the fabric and the way it fastens but I would guess a 32 to 34. As I said a Small. The only flaws I saw were a small hole where there may have been a tag at the nape of the back of the neck. This is barely noticeable about the size of a standard pin head and the bottom hem was sewn up 2 inches and though functional it was not done with great care for even stitching and I would take it out and redo it if I were to need to hem it up. Overall this is a fantastic free flowing dress or gown with a beautiful fabric and a free look and soft feel. I would keep this myself if I were small enough to wear it as it is VERY distinctive and quite original and dare I say AWESOME! # t0010 $30.00 + S&H
