This is a most Elegant and Ornate Gown by Vanity Fair. If you have never felt a Tricot all Nylon gown next to your body, this is a MUST for you.  The feel is so soft and dreamy against your skin.

The details that went into the making of this gown are Gorgeous.

Double layer of Chiffon Bodice and Empire waist.

The Bodice and the Empire waist are decorated with an embroidered floral design.

Double Chiffon Shoulder Straps.

Double Spaghetti Ties at the empire waist.

A Full Sweep of 98 inches 249cm.

The details in this gown flow through all the way to the scalloped Hemline.

A VERY Ravishing Gown.

This is in remarkable near MINT condition and one would think it made yesterday but the tag is a light blue woven tag that was used by Vanity Fair from the late 40’s through the 60's then they changed to a block letter printed tag in the  60's and to the current printed script mid to late 70's. This particular tag was phased out by the 70's

As This tag says ALL NYLON instead of some form of antron developed in 1960 and tough it says ALL instead of a % this is acceptable for current labeling but  by the style we can safely place this in the 50’s. The style suggests early to mid fifties. This is knowledge of style. One look at the bodice, ties, cups, pleats and scalloped hem and it screams 50's

Hips measurements are difficult to get as this gown is gathered at the waist in front.
