Tosca Long Gown and Peignoir set

Tosca gowns always have a bit extra material. See measurements.

Lovely cream lace and light butter yellow Gown and sheer chiffon Peignoir.  

This demure color does not say
"RIP THIS SEDUCTIVE PIECE OF FABRIC FROM MY BODY!!!"
Rather it speaks of elegance and sensual tenderness to be treasured.
At least that is the vibe I get from it.
Oh if only I was 60 or so pounds lighter.
This is the color that talks to me.

The Gown:

Typical Tosca floral lace over sheer chiffon at the bodice with ruffled lace edge.

9 inch 23cm  spaghetti straps

Arm openings 23 inches 58.5cm

Elastic at the empire waist measures 18 inches 46cm relaxed to 36 inches 91.5cm stretched

The bust is hard to measure as it is above the fabric at the arms but it is at least a 36  possibly to a 42. The front fabric measures to 16 inches and the back to 14 inches  which would be 30 but then you have to add for the open underarm 3 to 6 inches 7.5cm to 15cm each side. So 36 inch 91.5cm to 42 inch 107cm Bust

Empire Waist 44 inches 112cm at the elastic

Waist 50 inches 127 cm

Sweep 86 inches 218.5cm

The Gown is overlaid with a sheer chiffon that has much more fabric than the gown and the sweep of the chiffon overlay is 146 inches 397cm with a 1 ½ inch 4cm ruffled lace at the bottom hem.

The only flaws I see are a few minor picks in the chiffon that are not noticeable unless you really look close. What with all the extra fabric and blending into the background of the gown You will never notice them and so to me this is in like new condition.

The Peignoir/Robe:

In true Tosca fashion the peignoir matches the gown to perfection.

The lace is identical but there is loads more of it

The lace covers the bodice and overlays a sheer chiffon interior front and back.

The sleeves are puffy and made of just lace with elastic near the arm opening.

All of this abundance of lace is surrounded with even more of the ruffled lace at the upper bodice and arm openings.

 The open front and around the bottom is lined with the same ruffled lace.

 The bodice closes with 3 pearlized half moon buttons.

The arm openings at the sleeve ends are 10 inches 25.5cm relaxed to 20 inches 51cm stretched.

The empire waist at the elastic measures 20 inches 51cm relaxed to 40 inches 101.5cm stretched.

It measures 54 inches 137cm from shoulder to bottom

The sweep from where the Peignoir opens at the bottom all the way round is 160 inches 406cm .

I found only 1 small pick in the entire peignoir so again this is LIKE NEW to me. I have seen worse hanging in the department store being sold as new for hundreds more.

A true Tosca sensation with a few minor un-noticeable picks. I’d say Excellent like new condition. If you are not happy send it back there will be plenty others that will want this splendid Tosca Gown and Peignoir set.

A light butter yellow and oh so much wonderful chiffon and lace. A true sensation.
