Emilio Pucci was a famous and well-known Italian Fashion Designer.

Emilio Pucci signature clothes were a distinguished fashion of the late 50’s and early 60’s. After Emilio’s death in 1992 His daughter continued the business.

Though the care tag does not show the fiber content a mandate in 1960 I still feel this gown to be newer than pre 50's . Just a gut feeling I could be wrong and this could be pre 60's but I doubt it.

This gown is most likely from the late sixties or seventies and made under Emilio’s direction. I say this because of the tagged size discrepancy, the tag itself and the style.

It appears to be made of a tricot weaved nylon as there is stretch side to side but if this was made post 60's the stretch could be attributed to an Antron type II or III nylon with  perhaps some spandex.

Pucci clothing and accessories are still made today under the supervision of the daughter Laudomia Pucci and still command high prices thereby making them a favorite of the rich and famous.

This glorious gown would have been owned by a person of great wealth and society as it would have been beyond the reach of most middle class incomes of the period. Many Pucci gowns fetch prices from $600.00 up into the thousands, some have even fetched tens of thousands at auction. His claim to fame was his original artistic use of color. Though this gown does not sport the characteristic colors of Pucci, it is after all an elegant nightgown and very sexy. And though Pucci outerwear was very loud his intimates were of elegant stature.

For sale is this Gorgeous Burgundy Red Gown.

Lovely matching burgundy red 2 inch 5cm lace adorns this beautiful gown.

Lace flows around bodice (yoke) and back.  Also flows around the bottom of the bodice and down the full length of the gown.

There is a 19 inch 48cm split at the bottom front of the gown.

This elegant gown features double spaghetti straps.

Treat yourself and indulge in pure elegance.

Please check the measurements below for a proper fit.

Bust measures 36 inches 91.5cm

The bust is above the fabric encircling the back and the fabric has some give, so it is difficult to say what the total would be but at least a 36 (91.5cm)

Underarm measures 34 inches 86.5 cm

The empire waist measures 32 inches 81.5cm

Waist measures 40 inches 102cm.

Hips measure 46 inches. 117cm

Keep in mind there is some stretch to the fabric and all measurements were taken with the fabric relaxed. If you do not mind a tighter fit to fit your body shape you could go a bit larger.

Length measures 46 inches. 117cm But as stated below the strap was shortened by a little over 4 inches 10 cm. Because of the way the straps are intertwined you could gain 2 inches 5cm in length by moving the straps to the ends. So up to 48 inch 122cm length.

Full Sweep of 88 inches. 223.5cm

This gown is in excellent vintage condition.  The only flaw that I noticed was it looks like someone shortened the straps.  This is something that could easily be remedied as the extra was not cut off and could be lengthened again or left alone.  It does not take away from the beauty and elegance of this gown.

Your opportunity to own an authentic, elegant and very sensual Pucci at far less than the going rate. This would be a GREAT buy at many times more than the asking price.

Step into the world of Pucci with this elegant and sexy nightgown!!!

I sell this gown with the intent that the buyer will wear and enjoy it but it could also be bought as an investment, as fashion is art and art appreciates.
