KAYSER CORAL GOWN / PEIGNOIR SET TRICOT What a spectacular set! This Vintage set is a rare delight. Size 34 This Scrumptious Gown is 100% Nylon Tricot The utmost is Nylon. Very soft and silky! The is a rare Vintage set from Kayser. The V shape neckline and V shape back add a
very sexy appeal. Decorated with Beautiful Beige 2 inch 5 cm
Floral Lace around the front of the Empire waist, with a delicate satin bow in the middle. At the back Empire waist there is elastic. This Gown is in excellent Vintage condition. Almost like new. Please be sure to check the measurements given
below for a proper fit. Bust measures 34 inches 86 cm relaxed. Empire Waist measures 27 inches 69 cm relaxed. Empire Waist measures 34 inches 86 cm
stretched. Arm openings measure 20 inches 51 cm. Length measures from the top of the shoulder to
the hemline 55 inches 140 cm. Length measures from the Empire waist 41 ½
inches 105 cm. Is also made from 100% Nylon Tricot. There is the same beautiful 2 inch 5 cm floral
lace that adorns both sides of the neckline and around the sleeve ends. This delicate lace comes to a V shape at the
bust closed with a snap and satin bow. Going down the front of the peignoir are five
coral buttons. They have a pearl shine to them. There is one pocket on the right side. The Peignoir seems to be a shade lighter than
the gown possibly due to more washings. Also the length of the Peignoir is a bit shorter. It appears to have been hemmed and looks like
it could easily be taken out. Though I could not say if the length would equal the Gown. They are a matched set so I would assume they would. Other than that the Peignoir is in the same
Vintage quality that the gown is in. I wish I could place a date on this as I know it is old and would fetch a higher price with a date. Kayser is mostly known now for bras, panties and stockings, in the fifties they sold mostly undergarments as well, bras, corsets, garters, panties, etc, but included a larger selection of slips both full and half and nighties. I have seen only one other gown and no robe / gown or peignoir sets other than this one. It is truly a rare find. Look at the deep V cut of the Gown and the elbow length of the sleeves on the peignoir. it almost screams pre 70's but I have nothing to pin my thoughts to. The Gown is near Mint and the robe is faded a bit from washing and is hemmed up but could be let out again. If this set is as old as I think and as rare then it is considerably under priced but I have no facts as to age and rarity. # a0003 $60.00 + S&H
