Retro Vintage 60’s/70’s Gaymode Leather Varnished Wicker Purse/ Handbag     This purse came from my Grandmother’s Estate. I remember my Grandmother using this purse and one other Gaymode purse when I was a kid. I am guessing that these purses are from the late 60’s or mid 70’s as I remember my grandmother having both the Gaymode wicker purses in the early to mid seventies but she may have had them a long time before I remember seeing them.   Retro Vintage Gaymode purse.  This purse has a metal zipper. Take a look at the pictures and you can see that it is still in remarkable good shape.   This purse is made of a varnished wicker with a vinyl lining. There is one side pocket. There are 4 protective feet on the bottom. The straps are leather as well as along the opening of the purse along the zipper.   From the top of the purse to the bottom measures about 9 inches 23 cm. From side to side measures 13 ½ inches34 cm The opening measures 8 inches 20 cm The depth of the purse from the inside is about 8 inches 20 cm. The straps measure 23 inches 58.5 cm all the way around with a 7 inches 18 cm drop.   There are a few minor things that are wrong with this purse.  Easily fixed. There is a stud that is missing on one of the handles, the inside pocket as come apart at the seam about 1 inch 2.5 cm and one stud appears to have been replaced on the inside. I try to disclose everything that I notice.  These things are hardly noticeable.  I really thought long and hard about keeping this purse for myself as they are back in style.  The studs are basically heavy duty tacks and can be found in most craft stores. # n0006 $20.00 + S&H
