New Data Show 1 in 278 Children Have Cerebral Palsy

My daughter has Cerebral Palsy, Check out the site I made for families with children who have CP and other disabilities. Click http://www.cpfsn.org . I know you did not come here looking for information on disabilities and there are plenty of links on the left nav-bar to that which you are looking for but having a child with CP, Left Hemiplegia, Dystonia, Spasms and NLD and knowing that there are so many who have children with disabilities whether they be physical or mental, I feel obligated to use this space to inform of the other site I have that may be of some use to those in need.

      Be sure to check back as we still have hundreds of items yet to list and are looking for more all the time. We hope to have one of the largest selections of gently used, vintage and new intimates and clothing to choose from on the net. It will take us a long time to list just what we have and we get more as often as we can.

   Though this site is commercial in that we hope to sell our offered products we have posted pages that are informational in nature that we hope will help guide you in either your selections or in providing you with knowledge to help you in dating vintage clothing.

    I get a few letters from people interested in specific items or wanting information on dating an item. I hope I've provided enough information to help guide you to resources that can be helpful. I know it can be a hassle researching through the USPTO and others, but with a bit of digging you can generally find what you need. There are sites out there which will give you more information and some that are just information sites. Some charge for their services some do not. A lot can be learned with just a bit of effort. I can no longer do the research for you as my time is limited.  

We have many items yet to list, and would hope you come back and see what's new in a few weeks but should you find we do not have what you are looking for and want more options now,  please take advantage of the provided links to find it. I would rather you place us in your favorites and check back from time to time but even so I may never have that item that is just perfect for you. 

I cannot believe it has been so long since I have had time to update the listings on this site. I will try to do better; but there have been so many demands on my time do to family emergencies that it has just been a matter of priorities and I hate to say it but this site does not rank before family. A site devoted to providing information on Cerebral Palsy and places to get information of your rights as regards disabilities, the school system (IEP, 504 plan and special needs) as well as local contacts of advocacy sites that will help you to negotiate the system and get the necessary care and services for your child with Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities. We post your articles and have a Forum to talk with others to help each other. We also post our story and our continuing fight for our child's needs in hopes that others may learn from our experiences.

From Hubby:

I take pride in my wife and children and the accomplishments they and I have made. But pride takes a backseat to the welfare of my family and so on all our sites there will be ppc ads and on vintageslips4u.com affiliate ads and on cpfsn.org direct donation through Paypal.

We follow the “Golden Rule” with the caveat of “harm no one is so doing”. But we also realize that the welfare of our family is paramount and so ‘Pride’ takes a backseat to providing for my family. There was a time when I would not even take unemployment cause I was too proud to admit I was in need. But, older now, I realize I have a family to take care of and I can no longer afford the luxury of 'pride'. I have not yet had to go, donation cup in hand, and beg for change outside a local store but should that day arise I know I would do it. I no longer place my pride above my families welfare. 

Though required to go to Church and Sunday School till the age of 10, I am not a religious person. I abide by the 'Golden Rule' and harm no one in so doing.  But I take solace in that of the lists of sins in Proverbs 6:16-19: and what are called the seven deadly sins; only PRIDE can be found on both.

 So long as you live your life by the 'Golden Rule' and harm no one in doing so. I think you can take pride in who you are, pride in your family and pride in yours and their accomplishments.

       I think what is being said is that when Pride gets in the way of doing what is right, it is a bad thing. 

     So these words hold special meaning for me as I do what I can to provide for my family.
