New Data Show 1 in 278 Children Have Cerebral Palsy

My daughter has Cerebral Palsy, Check out the site I made for families with children who have CP and other disabilities. Click HERE. I know you did not come here looking for information on disabilities and there are plenty of links on the left nav-bar to that which you are looking for but having a child with CP and Dystonia and NLD and knowing that there are so many who have children with disabilities whether they be physical or mental, I feel obligated to use this space to inform of the other site I have that may be of some use to those in need.

Be sure to check back as we still have hundreds of items yet to list and are looking for more all the time. We hope to have one of the largest selections of gently used, vintage and new intimates and clothing to choose from on the net. It will take us a long time to list just what we have and we get more as often as we can.

Though this site is commercial in that we hope to sell our offered products we have posted pages that are informational in nature that we hope will help guide you in either your selections or in providing you with knowledge to help you in dating vintage clothing. You are welcome to use the chat  and forums.  I would expect the forums would be the best place for Q & A and for people to just mingle.

I get a few letters from people interested in specific items or wanting information on dating an item. I hope I've provided enough information to help guide you to resources that can be helpful. I know it can be a hassle researching through the USPTO and others, but with a bit of digging you can generally find what you need. There are sites out there which will give you more information and some that are just information sites. Some charge for their services some do not. A lot can be learned with just a bit of effort. I can no longer do the research for you as my time is limited.  You can post your question in the forum and hope someone will be able to answer.

We have many items yet to list, and would hope you come back and see what's new in a few weeks but should you find we do not have what you are looking for and want more options now,  please take advantage of the provided links to find it. I would rather you place us in your favorites and check back from time to time but even so I may never have that item that is just perfect for you.

I cannot believe it has been so long since I have had time to update the listings on this site. I will try to do better; but there have been so many demands on my time do to family emergencies that it has just been a matter of priorities and I hate to say it but this site does not rank before family. To read of what we have been having to cope with go to http://cpfsn.org and read The Blog.

Do to TOS restrictions I cannot tell you much as relates to any content on this site not my own.

I am low income and trying everything I can to make a few extra dollars to support my family of 4. You can read of me and my family here: http://www.cpfsn.org use the Amber's Parents link to read of us. You may find other links on the cpfsn site of interest as well.

If you are into crafts especially needlework or gardening then check out http://www.tamicraft.com we post our own interests as well as others and you can send me any article or pics to post for recognition and/or one way links to your site to improve your SEO.

Though I am low income I am not out to surreptitiously have any users of this site be hoodwinked into following a link without knowing that I might profit from it, even if doing so does no harm nor adds any cost to the user. My conscience will not allow me to do so. So if you would rather I not profit, then just  do not use any links. Few things upset me more than when people take advantage of me. I will not do the same to others. I live my life by the " 'Golden Rule' and harm no one in doing so". I'd rather not make a dime than betray my principles.

 Affiliate Links

Most affiliate links are on the Other Fashionable Clothing page, as most retailers carry many varied items and it would be difficult to link individual lingerie pages to the various items we list. Some links you will find on individual pages and even more on the Designer Clothing page the Plus Size page and the Everything Else page. Most Affiliate links will be in a table below OUR listings. Those links not in a table are ppc through google or my webhost affiliate link.

Thank you.

P.S. Check the linked website for coupon codes. Most often they cannot be combined, so choose the one that works best for you. Rarely some will allow combining sales with coupons so take the time to read each sites policies. Check the expiration date to insure the code is still valid. Also we are not responsible for "ANY" action of any affiliate and vice-versa. We only agree to place the ads. If you have any correspondence you wish to make with the store(s) please direct them to the store not us.

I’d like to apologize for the way the site is set up. I know it is not so easy to navigate as others might be. And is most definitely harder on the eyes. But the old adage “All that Glitters is Not Gold” holds true when it comes to websites. I have found several that look snazzy and make me drool but when I look at the content I find there is little to none. They are just fronts for links pages. You click on these links and make the site owner money. But you have lost time and were in effect hoodwinked by these flashy pages. Your click through has made the site owner money but you are still searching for information. I place ads on my sites but I also place relevant content so that you may not have to click through. The ads make me money but it is the content you are interested in. If I serve it up rather ‘Plain Jane’ isn’t it better to get what your looking for than be entertained or worse have to click through a links site with no content?

I guess we all have differing opinions on what makes a site worthwhile. For some it may be entertainment or a flashy look. For others they may not mind having been hoodwinked into a links only site to make the site owner money. Personally I would rather a content rich site where I might find useful information and if I choose to leave the page through an advertisement ( that may make the site owner some money) it is my choice, not one I was forced to make. Often when I hit a links only site I just back out rather than click through, why should I make a person money for having tricked me? Though there may be times when it is links that I am looking for. Links to information I can use. Though if this is the case the links (most often) are to websites that are not compensated, such as my links to disability pages on http://www.cpfsn.org . Sure there are some ads but most links are to pages that hold information that the user is looking for and I am in no way compensated for placing these links nor do I ask for a link exchange for providing them.

As to the look of my sites:

1st.
I do not know CSS and do all my sites in plain old html which is laborious and time consuming, and though I could easily make them fancy like those who have buttons, special effects, scripts and flash pages these are time consuming and take more time to load which makes them nice for those on broadband but dialup users are left waiting for page loads. The less graphics, effects and scripts, the faster the load time.

2nd.
Search engines categorize by what they read on the site. Typically they read the text as it appears in the html. I build my pages with tables, having a left nav-bar, a center content section and a right advertising section. Search engines therefore read the left nav-bar first. If all they see is links and the text of these links are to pages with different content they do not categorize the page correctly or not at all. In order for the Search to know what the page is about I have to place a couple lines of text about the page in the left nav-bar, at the beginning of the table.

3rd.

I place text in the links section so that you the user can know where the link may take you. It avoids your having to click links to pages you have no interest in, but it also clutters the links section and makes it more drawn out than it needs to be. I tried having a just links left-nav bar with buttons some years back and found it clean and neat but also found in my stats that many pages saw views but that few stayed on them long. I assumed that they had found pages that were not of interest and moved on. Since implementing a link and text format I find less page views but a longer stay on a page as the user is finding the information they are seeking faster. Some links do not require text as the link itself is pretty self-explanatory.

4th .

People want ‘instant gratification’ that is to say they want what they are looking for handed to them on a silver platter. They do not want to have to read much or wade through a lot of information that has no bearing on what they are looking for. I have two choices. Either make a short simple page on every single subject and satisfy the general user who wants instant gratification, or place several content related articles on single pages and let the reader have to read a bit of text to find that pearl they are looking for. Well In some cases I have done the former and in some the latter. Why? Well for some subjects they are best served alone. They express an opinion or some content that should not be blended with any other such as your stories, comments, or tips. However other pages can and should be blended as they have interlacing content such as the IEP, 504plan, and IDEA 2004 on www.CPFSN.org . I do separate out the actual programs to some extent but I also combine so that a reader may see the way these programs interact.

So in closing I hope you will forgive the mess and I hope you have found information and/or links to pages that have been of help.

Remember to follow the ‘GoldenRule’ and (life, fate, karma, God) may just reward you with a bit more happy days than sad ones.
Thanks
Robert and Tami

Also I would love to be able to place a Buy Now button on every item but we never know what shipping will be and hubby says oscommerce is above his ability as it is written in .php and then there is having to place hundreds of items we've already listed into the oscommerce pages. So though I'm sure it would increase sales it is not feasible at this time. Everything needs to be done via email. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We do accept Paypal and I can send you a Paypal invoice. You can pay using your Paypal account or any major credit card. If you choose you can snail mail a U.S. Postal Service money order. It is the only other form of payment we accept. Of course there is cash but few trust the mail. I would appreciate if you would notify me if you want USPS insurance on your items as there is no place to put it after the fact on a Paypal invoice. Insurance is available for the amount of the item (s) only and is not available to all countries or with all shipping methods. See www.usps.com for fee structure and availability. We charge actual USPS fees with no add on handling for insurance. Though we do charge a minimal handling fee for packaging, filling out custom forms if applicable and taking the item the the post office.

Please understand that the use of " I " can refer to hubby or myself taken in context. Most all about clothing, vintage dating, embroidery and crafts is me the rest is hubby. But we both contribute to all our sites and use " I " when referring to ourselves. Hubby has little interest in clothing, embroidery and the like but is really into the Cerebral Palsy sites. Likewise I know little about websites and he does all the HTML and such. We both contribute and we both refer to ourselves as I.

Done! I bet you feel as if you just read a novel? Sorry.
